We are off on a cruise to Hawaii !

Jeff and I are off on a Princess Cruise to the Hawaiian Islands. We will be back June 6th. I will try to post some pictures while we are away... so keep checking! Aloha

Yuli & Ronny's Wedding

As promised...here are a couple of pictures for a teaser. I can't belive I got these posted before we leave on holidays. Ronny and Yuli have got to be the nicest couple ever! They are so sweet and so polite. We had tons of time to photograph them and we got lots of awesome pictures. You guys were truly a treat to spend the day with..I wish you all the happiness in the world. Congratulations!

Winter wonderland...What the???

Well.... the weather forecast was right for once :)
We woke up this morning to see everything covered in a thick blanket of snow. The tree's were drooping over and branch's were breaking off. Hard to believe it's almost June...

Okay....Jackie & Andrew were troopers! It was raining/snowing then windy and these guys indulged in my wanting to take umbrella shots. Thanks guys, you were awesome :) We spent a little time outside getting these shots and then came in for some tea and chitty chat...not to mention warming up. After a few portraits inside we were done and noticed it was now snowing outside. (Yikes..gotta love Calgary) Jackie is a talented seamstress so if anyone needs any custom sewing or a dress made..don't hesitate to contact her @ custom_dress@hotmail.com

Shelley & Shelley....

I spent a wonderful Sunday ...actually from 10:30 until midnight with Shelley Vandervelde of SVP Photography. www.shelleyvandervelde.com
She taught me some photoshop techniques, design of collages as well as studio lighting. I tend to use mostly natural light but I LOVE some of the dramatic lighting that can be achieved with the studio light's. I am hooked and I see some new lighting in my near future. Shelley's buddy in the one pic is Mozart, aka.. "Moe" he is still a pup, a very large puppy that thinks he can still fit in her lap, he's super cute. If anyone is looking for photoshop lessons or studio lighting lessons please contact Shelley. She is an awesome person and a super teacher... I had a great day with her :) Thanks Shell.

Nature's vibrant color...

Early this morning while Jeff and I were out walking the dogs, this pretty little flower caught my eye. It was all alone and begged to be photographed...so I indulged.

Jeff & I had so much fun shooting this e-session. Ronny was a little unsure at first but after a few minutes he was totally into it! He especially loved those huge hay bales. Yuli is going to be such a beautiful bride. Their wedding is on May 26 2007 and I can't wait :)
